Pokeninja GO! Inktober 4

In my early con going days, a lot of us would draw what are today known as mash-ups, combining one comic character with something else. I think that Kevin Eastman and I both drew our fair share of BatTurtles for example.....so, this was just for fun. Black brush marker and white out pen on yellow paper.

Phoenix Inktober 3

Phoenix on tan paper, brush marker and white out pen. I get some 'grey' effects in the background by using a dried out black marker which gives a soft dry brush look.

Not sure if I will keep it up for the whole month, but I have been drawing these inked headshots in my spare time in preparation for NYCC next week so I thought I would post them. They are all 8.5x11, most are done in 20-40 minutes and inked with various brush markers and white out pens.
