Supergirl and the Legionaires!

Here are another couple of recent commissions, Supergirl and Saturn Girl. Even though I wasn't reading the Legion book in 1960's, I do really like that period of fun comics, so doing a commish of those types of characters is always a treat for me.

BOMBS AWAY!

If you're and artist that does comic commissions, it is unavoidable that you will be doing some of the same popular characters over and over again. I understand that, but it's always great to get to do something unusual or draw an obscure character...a couple of recent commissions hit both marks! Michael Rankins has started to put together a cool collection of golden age heroines he calls Bombshells rendered in a nose art kind of format so I was glad to jump on board. I knew Valkyrie from the Dave Stevens cover of course, but I'd never seen or heard of Moongirl before...I like that!
